Birthday Parties
Milestone birthdays — 30, 40, 50, 60, and beyond — deserve more than a playlist. I tailor the setlist to the guest of honor: their favorite songs, the music from their era, custom requests from the spouse or kids. The first 2 custom songs are included free.
For younger crowds: high-energy pop, country, R&B, and classic rock built to dance to. For more relaxed gatherings: acoustic-driven, conversation-friendly arrangements. I read the room and adjust.
Holiday & Christmas Parties
Christmas parties, New Year's gatherings, Thanksgiving dinners, Hanukkah celebrations — the holiday season is when live music makes the biggest difference. Classic holiday repertoire blended with the genres your guests actually want to hear (not just an hour of Mariah Carey on repeat).
Books up fast for November and December — if you're planning a holiday party, reach out as early as possible. Most December weekends are spoken for by October.
Dinner Parties
Dinner parties are a different category — too intimate for the Loopstation, too special for a playlist. For these events, I scale my setup all the way down: piano or solo acoustic guitar with vocals, using a single Bose S1 Pro speaker. Minimal footprint, conversation-friendly volume, sophisticated atmosphere.
Ideal for: small dinner parties (8-30 guests), private chef events, anniversary dinners, intimate celebrations, and any gathering where music should underscore the evening rather than dominate it. The setup fits comfortably in a corner of any dining room.
House Parties & Cocktail Parties
Adult social gatherings — Friday night cocktail parties, summer house parties, neighborhood get-togethers. The Loopstation builds full-band arrangements live so the room feels like it's at a bar, not a backyard. Music for conversation when people are arriving, full-energy when the room fills up, scaling back as the night winds down.
Best for groups of 20-60 in living rooms, backyards, patios, or rented venues. I bring my own PA and setup is fully self-contained.
Graduation Parties
Graduation parties usually mean multi-generational crowds — the graduate's friends, parents, grandparents, family friends all in one room. The setlist has to span genres and decades, which is exactly what I do. Custom song requests for the graduate are included (first 2 free).
May and June book up early — reach out by March or April if you're planning a graduation party.
